snow cones!

Yesterday my roommate Amy gave me one of the greatest presents I've ever received... a snow cone machine!!!! I love this thing! Tonight we made the first snow cones, and I loved every minute of it. If you are in South Bend make sure to stop by so I can make you one!!!
In other news, I have about 9 days left for making my decision for med school and yesterday (thanks to Keri and Amy's suggestion), I started a novena to St. Therese. Before Therese died she promised, "I will spend my heaven doing good on earth. I will let fall from heaven a shower of roses" so you can imagine how much I smiled today when my friend Evelyn gave me a gift of flowers for being one of her confirmation sponsors... yellow roses! Once again the "little flower" has touched my life with her love and her prayers. Thank you Evelyn, and thank you St. Therese!!

One last thing... I want to congratulate my good friend Kevin on his graduation from Miami University today, and for being chosen as the graduation speaker for his college. Congratulations Kevin!!!!
