We had a surprise birthday party for him last Friday night, and one of the biggest surprises was that Christy flew in from San Francisco, and Ryan came in from Chicago!!!
Another huge surprise for my dad is that he'll be going to the Cleveland Indians Fantasy Camp in Winter Haven, FL this year. Here he is learning about his big gift!!

On Saturday I went to Pittsburgh to look for an apartment, and then got home just in time to get to the CMHS class of '96 reunion. What a great time, and I just want to send a big thank you to everyone who made it-- it was great to see everyone!

Matt, Katie, Gina and meLast but not least, I also wanted to let you all know that my good friend Shannon has started a blog. Yay! Shannon and I met just about a year ago when we were both taking the Kaplan review class to get ready for the MCAT, and I honestly don't know how I would have gotten through last summer without her. Shannon is one of the most faith-filled persons that I have ever known, a one in a million friend, a beautiful mom to her two children Madeline and Timothy, and a true inspiration to me. She is also currently beginning the process of applying to med school for next year, so please keep her in your prayers!!!
